First half
River Plate started the match strongly and took the lead in the 10th minute through a goal from Julián Álvarez. The visitors equalised in the 25th minute through Ramiro Carrera, but River Plate regained the lead just two minutes later when Enzo Fernández scored. River Plate continued to dominate the first half and extended their lead in the 45th minute through a goal from Braian Romero.
Second half
River Plate continued to control the match in the second half and added a fourth goal in the 65th minute through a penalty from Enzo Fernández. Atlético Tucumán had a chance to pull a goal back in the 75th minute, but Ramiro Carrera's penalty was saved by Franco Armani. River Plate held on to their lead to secure a comfortable 4-1 victory.
